5 Great Coffee Shops to Work Remote in DC + Coffee Shops we've explored in DC, Va, and More to add to your coffee shop bucketlist!

Hey there Sipsters,

As the new year is off to the longest start, wouldn’t it be a great time to share my exclusive scoop on where you should be caffeinating?

If the answer is yes, then I think you are in the right place.

January is all about building routine, working towards your goals, and really getting that creative juice flowing to kick start your year.

and let’s be real, what better way to fuel all that ambition than with a perfectly brewed cup of coffee? Let’s get into some cozy corners, hidden gems, and vibe-y cafés that deserve a spot on your caffeine bucket list this year.

To kick things off, here’s what I’ve been exploring in the coffee world lately—just for you!

This Week’s Coffee Shop Exploration:

[this is your inside scoop because I havent posted these yet! ]

  1. Au LaitAddress

    1. This coffee shop left me feeling very cozy inside. Located at the bottom half of a row home in DC this coffee shop gives off an old school cafe vibe. The music was calming, baristas kind and relaxed, with a good amount of seating. Au Lait has a great selection of food as well and the best part is that their cold brew was tasty and refreshing. I’d go back!

      • What I ordered: A cold brew with a splash of oatmilk & the Avocado Egg Sandwich on a tomato wrap

  2. Jaliyaa: Address

    1.  Located in Bryant Street Market, I’ve been patiently waiting for Jaliyaa to finally open up a brick and mortar store. They are a coffee truck normally but I always seemed to miss them. Man was their coffee tasty! They typically use media to dark roast beans ethically sourced from Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, and Tanzania.  I got to see their cold brew drip method which is a sight to see at local coffee shops since usually you only get to see the end result, your cup filled with cold brew. Getting coffee there was a delight!

      • What I ordered: a Cold Brew with a splash of oatmilk + a gingerbread chai
