So Let’s Chat Coffee shops in NYC
New York City is a heavy hitter when it comes to coffee shops! There is legit a coffee shop on every corner of the city.
You are NEVER short of caffeine… it’s physically impossible!
Which, for a city that never sleeps, that does makes A LOT of sense.
Let’s state the goal here! 50 coffee shops by the end of this year! Is that possible?
I think so! Think of me as your coffee bff! I’ll try the shops and report back to you! Sound like a deal?
YAY? Okay let’s do this!
NYC COFFEE TOUR | Roughly in and around Chelsea
Hotel stay: Hilton Motto in Chelsea
Nice hotel, small rooms but typical to NYC, and really close to Hudson Yards, which is where we were dropped off by the Jet Bus. A luxury bus that takes you from DC to NYC.
NYC Coffee Shop Wrap | The good, the okay, and the blah!
Bunny and Bro’s
Located right at the edge of Chelsea, Bunny and Bro’s Coffee is a highlight of this coffee tour. I had to give it 5 stars after the Cold Brew and Iced Einspanner we tried. The baristas were really nice and fun plus the coffee shop itself was bright with ample amount of seating. Definitely worth adding to your list of coffee shops to visit and it’s totally instagram worthy.
Variety Coffee Roasters
Following suit is Variety, claiming 4.5 stars after sipping on their cold brew. Totally a vibe in this cafe. It’s giving, I would sit in here and read my book or journal while I drink my coffee. T
hey have a ton of locations and as someone visiting, I could tell that this is probably a NYC staple. Also i think it’s also good to note that the cold brew is light and fruity. Which was very refreshing.
Kona Coffee Roasters
Hawaii in the city? Crazy but true, this was a coffee shop that surprised me with a super unique latte flavor profile that I’ve just NEVER experienced before. Think pina colada but … coffee. While it was odd, it was very good, I gave this coffee shop 4.5 stars.
Fun fact: Some locations even have it served in a PINEAPPLE!
The Soiree
Bloop! Okay, so this cafe is in Hell’s Kitchen.
We had to meet up with friends and took our tour here while we waited. Granted, they do sell coffee… but I myself got a crisp and refreshing Jasmine Tea and my husband got the Chai. Both exactly what we needed.
Bonus, the inside of this cafe can only be described as serene. It was a place to relax, catch your breath, and find peace in a chaotic place.
Fellini Coffee
Your favorite influencer has definitely been here, with iconic movie like set up and in the Chelsea location, an European coffee stand aesthetic.
There really is no guessing why it has gone absolutely viral. Unfortunately, not all coffee shops can be great. I fear my cold brew and Dolce Vita was not my favorite -giving it a whopping 2 stars. That does not mean you shouldn’t give it a go!
Let’s hope, my dolce vita was just made wrong because of the Sunday rush.
So there you have it friends! A mini coffee tour you can now have at your fingertips for your next quick weekend trip to NYC!
Remember that map will continue to grow which means more resources for you and tons more coffee for us both!
So much more to come!
Xx Dom
